Honeywell has signed an exclusive five-year agreement with Vietjet Air to provide maintenance support for the 331-350 auxiliary power units (APUs) on the airline’s Airbus A330 fleet. The contract, covering 30 widebody aircraft, extends the companies’ existing partnership and reinforces Honeywell’s role in Vietjet’s maintenance ecosystem.
The deal was announced at the Paris Air Show and builds on Honeywell’s ongoing support for Vietjet’s A330 operations. It is expected to help strengthen the carrier’s fleet readiness and operational efficiency as Vietjet continues to expand its widebody network.

Vietjet is in the midst of a significant expansion, having placed orders for 20 A330neo and 200 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The airline’s CEO, Dr. Dinh Viet Phuong, noted the importance of trusted partners during this growth phase: “Honeywell’s advanced APU technology and global service expertise have consistently delivered performance and reliability. This expanded partnership reaffirms our confidence in Honeywell as a trusted partner in scaling our widebody operations and delivering cost-efficient service across our network.”
Honeywell, a long-established provider of power systems and maintenance services, supports airlines worldwide with its regional infrastructure and technical expertise. The agreement with Vietjet highlights the company’s ability to adapt to the needs of high-growth markets and to support evolving airline requirements across the lifecycle of their fleets.
