Leonardo DRS has teamed up with AMS Bin Hilal for UAE-based Titan On-Board Vehicle Power (OBVP) integration and support on Navistar Maxxpro vehicles.

The company is also showcasing, for the first time at IDEX, its  Leonardo DRS’ Integrated Mission Command Battle Management System on the Navistar Maxxpro.

The integration of the Titan OBVP on the infantry carriers allows on demand electrical power in the battlefield and for disaster relief. The new solution reduces or even negates the need for towed generators and reduces the logistics footprint for the same.

The Titan OBVP has been integrated into tactical vehicles with Allison 3200 and 4500 series transmissions, in partnership with Allison. There is no change to the vehicle driveline.

The Titan OBVP delivers 125 kW of electrical power at Halt and 60kW on the move, making the ideal power source for all mission equipment packages.

Leonardo DRS’ Integrated Mission Command Battle Management System, which is being showcased at the show, features substantially improved situational awareness for the operators with two rugged multi-functional displays (15” and 12”). There is also a GVA display and a 10.4” GVA multi-function rugged tablet.
