IMDEX Asia 2023 Returns with Renewed Vigour and a Robust Programme

When Asia Pacific’s leading maritime and defence exhibition IMDEX Asia returns on 3 May for its 13th edition, top executives in the defence and maritime sectors can once again reconvene for strategic conversations that foster engagement to accelerate global and regional collaboration.

The three-day event will welcome over 10,000 trade visitors at the Singapore Changi Exhibition Centre. About 67 official delegations from 42 countries including senior naval officers and government officials from every Asia-Pacific country had attended the 2019 edition.

The 2023 edition welcomes the debut of U.S. and Canadian pavilions, which augments an impressive roster of country pavilions that spans across multiple product and service categories.

The presence of major industry players such as Israel Aerospace Industries and Lockheed Martin bears testament to the continued importance of IMDEX Asia and the Asia-Pacific region to industry players.

Another IMDEX Asia mainstay, the Warship Display segment will host an international fleet of warships at the Changi Naval Base. Visitors enjoy first-hand experience of on-board operations and interact with senior naval officers.

With rapid technological developments and evolving needs, IMDEX Asia is also taking What’s Next, a programme which spotlights innovative start-ups, to a new level. Partnering with Starburst, a global aerospace and defence startup accelerator, What’s Next has launched its inaugural IMDEX Asia Innovation Challenge for promising start-ups to pitch and exhibit at IMDEX Asia 2023.

Beyond the show-and-tell, IMDEX Asia also thrives on the exchange of ideas and fosters thoughtful conversations on themes affecting the sector. This will continue to be fulfilled by the exclusive International Maritime Security Conference (or IMSC for short), which sits at the heart of every IMDEX Asia. IMSC propels pivotal conversations that promote mutual understanding and collaboration in Asia Pacific.

IMDEX Asia remains a must-attend event for naval and maritime stakeholders to network and exchange knowledge, as well as keep abreast of the latest technological developments.
