With defence exports now a priority for the Indian Government, several Indian companies are present at the India Pavilion at the ongoing ADAS.

One notable participant is BrahMos, which is an Indo-Russian joint venture and manufacturer of supersonic cruise missiles. The BrahMos has been ordered by the Philippines, which is the first export customer for the weapon.

The Indonesian Ministry of Defence (MoD) had also expressed interest in acquiring the BrahMos

However, several Indian public sector and private sector firms are participating at ADAS 2022, this includes the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), Larsen & Toubro, MKU, SMPP, etc.

India is seeking to benefit from a surge in defence spending with countries in the region due to changes in the security environment.
