Indian CBRN Firm Explores New Markets

: Nov 19, 2019 - : 4:10 pm

India based Nova CBRN Technologies (Nova), is a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) defence services firm that has pioneered the development of CBRN Threat Management & Response Software. Nova is making its maiden show participation at Defence & Security 2019, as it is looking to expand the market or its software, which enables the integration of various CBRN sensors into a single user- friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI).

NOVA has already delivered and commissioned the CBRN Software on various Indian Defence projects. The company’s software is fully customizable as per the client’s specifications and has been duly certified by the STQC (Software Quality Control) Branch of India.

“CBRN Threat Management Software is of especially great value when installed in military reconnaissance (Recce) vehicles. It has the capability to successfully integrate data from multiple dissimilar systems such as Chemical/Biological/Radiation Detection Systems, Weather information systems, GIS Mapping & GPS Tracking Systems, Health Status Systems, NAS Storage System, and GSM Modem Systems,” says Vivek Pawha, MD based Nova CBRN Technologies.

Apart from externally/internally deployed systems on a recce vehicle, the company’s software enables encrypted wireless/radio communication between the vehicle and an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). It also offers an added ability to push/ share the collected NBC data along with the GPS location of the recce vehicle (as well as UGV) to each control room across the country.
