The organisers of Indo Aerospace 2024 Expo & Forum will visit the international airshow at Avalon Airport in Victoria, Australia, from 25 to 30 March 2025. This visit comes ahead of the Indo Aerospace, Indo Defence, and Indo Marine 2024 Expo & Forum, scheduled to take place from 11 to 14 June 2025 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Indonesia.
The Indo Aerospace Expo & Forum is expected to facilitate engagement with government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and private sector representatives, including the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, AirNav Indonesia, airlines, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers. The event aims to serve as a platform for business networking in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian aerospace markets. It will feature exhibitions, international forums, technical product presentations, live demonstrations, and business matchmaking.
Organisers state that the 2024 event will provide updates on developments in aerospace, airport infrastructure, commercial aviation, and aviation security. The exhibition is supported by several industry associations, including the Indonesian Drone Pilots Association (APDI), the Indonesian Helicopter Pilots Association (APHI), the Indonesian Pilots Association (IPI), and the Indonesia Aircraft Maintenance Services Association (IAMSA), among others.
The Indo Aerospace, Indo Defence, and Indo Marine expos were initially scheduled for last year but were postponed to allow for further preparations. Organisers describe the delay as a strategic decision aimed at enhancing the exhibition’s quality and ensuring greater benefits for participants and stakeholders. They anticipate participation from more than 1,000 local and international companies representing 60 countries, with 35 national pavilions and an expected attendance of 40,000 visitors over the four-day event.
Interested parties attending the Avalon airshow are invited to meet with Indo Aerospace representatives to discuss potential business opportunities.
