The 9th Indo Aerospace participated as both exhibitor and delegate at the Indonesia MRO Summit (IMROS) 2025, held on 14–15 October 2025 at Grand Mercure Harmoni, Jakarta, reflecting its ongoing support for Indonesia’s aviation, aircraft, and airport industry.
Indonesia is projected to become the world’s sixth-largest air travel market by 2034, according to global aviation forecasts, driving increased demand for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services to support fleet growth and operational reliability. IMROS 2025 provided a forum to discuss key industry topics, including technological advancements, regulatory developments, sustainability initiatives, digital transformation, and workforce readiness.
Indo Aerospace 2026’s participation at IMROS 2025 allowed engagement with representatives from the naval, coast guard, rescue, and offshore sectors, exploring opportunities to integrate aerospace technologies into maritime operations and security frameworks. As part of the Indo Defence series hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Defence, Indo Aerospace offers a platform for stakeholders to exchange insights, showcase developments, and explore collaborative opportunities in aviation and defense aerospace.
Looking ahead, Indo Aerospace 2026 Expo & Forum will introduce a dedicated UAV Zone, highlighting the growth of unmanned systems in the defense sector. The zone will feature drone technologies, including surveillance systems, tactical UAVs, unmanned combat aerial vehicles, and supporting solutions for intelligence, reconnaissance, and logistics. The feature aims to foster engagement between industry participants, defense professionals, and government representatives around emerging capabilities shaping modern defense strategies.
Indo Aerospace 2026 Expo & Forum is scheduled for 18–21 November 2026 and will cover developments across defence, aerospace, maritime, and security sectors. The 2025 edition of Indo Defence attracted 1,183 participants from 55 countries, 32 country pavilions, and 45,691 visitors over four days. The 2026 edition is expected to continue strengthening Indonesia’s role in the global defense and aerospace landscape.
