The upcoming 10th edition of Indo Defence 2024 Expo & Forum, renowned as one of the foremost international defence industry exhibitions and forums, is facing a scarcity of exhibition space. PT Napindo Media Ashatama (Napindo), the organising entity, has shared this development with enthusiasm. The event is scheduled to showcase defence advancements from 6th to 9th November 2024 across three venues, primarily at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. Additionally, the aircraft static display will be hosted at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, while the Pondok Dayung Naval Base will feature the naval display.
According to the Managing Director of Napindo, the current participation stands at 89%, leaving only 11% of the exhibition space available. The event has garnered significant interest from both local and international exhibitors, with more anticipated contributions to this esteemed gathering.
Indo Defence 2024 Expo & Forum, hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia and organised by PT Napindo Media Ashatama, is part of a larger event that includes Indo Aerospace and Indo Marine 2024 Expo & Forum. Over 1,000 local and international companies, representing 60 countries including 35 country pavilions, are expected to occupy the 70,000sqm exhibition area for the four-day event.
Countries such as Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Qatar, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Netherlands, Turkiye, UAE, UK, and USA have already confirmed their participation, with more expected to join.
