Indo Defence 2026 Highlights Partnership Opportunities at DIMDEX

Our Bureau - : Jan 20, 2026 - : 12:36 am

Indo Defence Expo & Forum is participating at the ongoing DIMDEX to promote partnership opportunities linked to its upcoming Indo Defence 2026 Expo & Forum, scheduled to take place 18–21 November 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The event will be held in conjunction with Indo Aerospace 2026 and Indo Marine 2026, forming Indonesia’s Official Tri-Service Defence, Aerospace, Maritime and Security exhibition. Now in its 11th edition, Indo Defence is designed to support national and regional defence development through a comprehensive exhibition and forum programme, serving as a platform for engagement between government stakeholders, armed forces and the global defence industry.

Speaking to GBP Daily News, the organisers described their presence at DIMDEX as an opportunity to observe current industry directions, exchange professional perspectives, and reinforce Indo Defence’s role as Indonesia’s officially endorsed Tri-Service defence exhibition, connecting international defence companies with Indonesia’s defence and security ecosystem.

Indo Defence 2026 will feature expert-level seminars, industry forums and technical presentations addressing contemporary defence priorities, alongside product exhibitions and live demonstrations showcasing deployed defence technologies. The programme is intended to facilitate engagement among defence manufacturers, system integrators, government institutions, armed forces and wider security stakeholders.

To support industry readiness and innovation, the upcoming edition will introduce two dedicated strategic focus areas: the Innovation Zone and the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Zone. The Innovation Zone is designed to accelerate the commercialisation of national defence research under the BATEKHAN initiative, foster collaboration across the defence ecosystem and support emerging defence technology start-ups.

The MRO Zone, meanwhile, will highlight Indonesia’s growing national MRO capabilities under the Baharwat programme, with the aim of attracting international investment and technical partnerships while strengthening Indonesia’s position as a regional defence maintenance hub.

Through continued engagement with global defence platforms and close alignment with evolving market requirements, Indo Defence 2026 aims to ensure that its exhibition content, featured technologies and strategic focus remain relevant to both current and future defence needs.
