Our Bureau - : Jun 13, 2025 - : 12:12 am

NDS (KMW+NEXTER Defense Systems) announced the inking of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Indonesia for procurement of additional CAESAR artillery systems and its 155mm ammunition at the ongoing show. The Indonesian Army already operates 56 CAESAR Self-Propelled Howitzers (SPH), making it the third largest operator of the French artillery system. Under the terms of the new LOI, KNDS will enhance its industrial cooperation with Indonesian firms, allowing production to take place locally. “KNDS France is committed to strengthen its industrial partnership with Indonesian DTIB through transfer of know-how, technology and of assembly of artillery guns in Indonesia,” the French firm said in a release. There will also be a high level of local content and high-value transfer as part of the agreement.
