Ceska Zbrojovka (CZ), the Czech small arms manufacturer is making the international show debut of its CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S2 MICRO at the ongoing Defence & Security show. The CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S2 MICRO was officially launched by the firearms manufacturer on 6 November and this is the first trade fair where it is being shown in public. The highly compact, semi-automatic 9 × 19 caliber firearm based on the globally popular CZ SCORPION EVO 3 series platform in the pistol caliber carbine category. In addition to the new weapon, the Czech small arms manufacturer is displaying firearms from its military and sport portfolios.
The complete range of CZ firearms for the armed forces is on display, which includes the CZ P-10 series of striker-fired pistols, CZ P-07/09 hammer-fired pistols, the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 sub gun (including the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1 semi-automatic carbine), several versions of the CZ BREN 2 select-fire rifle and the CZ TSR sniper rifle. Speaking to Daily News, a company spokesperson said, “CZ is well known supplier of Czech firearms in Thailand, where we supply duty pistols, sport pistols, SMGs and also rimfire rifles which are popular due to its durability, accuracy a reliability. We have been a trusted supplier to various M&LE agencies in Thailand and neighbouring countries for decades and therefore we use this opportunity to strengthen our position and show our newest product portfolio.”
“We would be stable and trustable supplier of firearms not only to commercial market but also to military and law enforcement. We would continue with DOPA projects supply and prepare solution for law enforcement market according to needs,” the spokesperson added. CZ is also displaying products from its sister company, Colt, which is also part of Colt CZ Group SE. Rifles from Colt’s M4, M5, M7 and M16 platforms are being shown, together with Colt Cobra, King Cobra, Python and Anaconda revolvers.
Rounding off the presentation of Colt firearms will be Colt 1911 pistols. Showgoers will also have a chance to see sport shooting models from CZ, namely the CZ TS 2 and CZ SHADOW 2 series, as well as the latest addition to the CZ SHADOW 2 family – the CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT. There will also be rimfire rifles from the CZ 457 family on display, namely the CZ 457 LUX and the CZ 457 TRAINING RIFLE.
