Israeli Defence Technologies Showcased at IDEX 2025

The Israeli Ministry of Defence's Directorate for International Defence Cooperation (SIBAT), in collaboration with leading Israeli defence firms, participated in the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) 2025 in Abu Dhabi. The Israeli delegation, led by SIBAT Director Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Yair Kulas, presented various defence technologies at the national pavilion, including force protection, command and control, logistics, and unmanned systems.

The pavilion's opening ceremony was attended by Israel’s Ambassador to the UAE, Yossi Sheli, the Head of the Defence Export Control Agency (DECA), Racheli Chen, and senior industry representatives. Among the showcased developments were next-generation personal protection equipment, advanced tactical medical solutions, drone defence systems, and communication technologies.

Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Kulas stated, "Israel's participation in IDEX 2025 represents the flourishing defence cooperation that has emerged since the Abraham Accords. The combat-proven systems and technologies showcased by our defence industries highlight Israel's technological edge and our commitment to working with international partners to address shared security challenges."

Several Israeli defence companies presented their latest developments:

  • CREOMAGIC Ltd. introduced its CreoAir Pro communication device, designed to enhance tactical awareness and resistance to environmental interference.
  • DAGAN-OPTICS Ltd. exhibited its electro-optical systems, including the SensoDrive thermal periscope for Merkava tanks and a new lightweight target acquisition system.
  • MEDITACTIC presented a lightweight personal protection plate and a second-generation tactical medical backpack.
  • NIMDA Co Ltd. showcased its vehicle modernisation solutions, including powerpack upgrades for military armoured vehicles.
  • OMNISYS Ltd. highlighted mission planning and optimisation systems for defence and security applications.
  • GATE TECHNOLOGIES Ltd. displayed electronic safe and arm devices for infantry and missile systems.
  • MAGAM SAFETY Ltd. featured self-sealing fuel tanks, life rafts, parachutes, and survival gear.
  • ORBIT COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS Ltd. demonstrated airborne and maritime communication technologies.
  • REGULUS CYBER Ltd. presented GNSS-based counter-drone systems with operational deployments.
  • RT LTA SYSTEMS Ltd. showcased tactical aerostats for intelligence and surveillance missions.
  • STEADICOPTER Ltd. introduced unmanned aerial systems designed for intelligence gathering and precision strikes.

IDEX 2025 provided a platform for Israeli defence firms to highlight their technological advancements and explore potential collaborations in the region.
