Kuwaiti budget airline Jazeera Airways had taken delivery of its sixth Airbus A320neo jet at Kuwait International Airport.

The new aircraft takes the carrier’s fleet to 15 aircraft, consisting of nine A320s and six A320neos.  The airline will add three more A320neo jets this year.

“We are pleased to welcome our newest A320neo to our fleet as we continue to take delivery of our scheduled orders for 2021,” said Jazeera Airways’ CEO, Rohit Ramachandran.  “Despite the headwinds driven by the global pandemic over the past year, we believe that travel will gradually return to normal thanks to the success of safety and health measures that are helping make travel safe for everyone.”
