Joramco and flydubai Sign New Maintenance Agreement

Joramco, the Amman-based MRO and the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), has entered into a new maintenance agreement with Dubai-based airline, flydubai.

The new agreement includes all due C checks on the carrier’s Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Checks began on  March 1 this year and are set to continue through December 2021.

“Our long-standing partnership with Flydubai, which began in 2013, is a testament to the quality of service that we provide and our ability to meet Flydubai’s expectations,” said Jeff Wilkinson, Joramco‘s chief executive officer. “We are proud that Flydubai continues to entrust Joramco by providing first-class maintenance services to their growing fleet.”

“Joramco has been a key maintenance partner since 2013 and we look forward to continuing to work with them,” said Mick Hills, senior vice president of engineering and maintenance at Flydubai. “In particular, we would like to thank Joramco for the vital support they provided during the pandemic. In the provision of the services, under this new agreement, we know they will bring a high level of service and care to the maintenance of our fleet.”

flydubai has a network of more than 70 destinations served by a fleet of 51 aircraft. It commenced operations in June 2009.
