KNDS France and BARZAN Holdings have entered into a Letter of Intent (LoI) that marks a significant step toward the localisation of medium and large-calibre ammunition capabilities in Qatar.
The LOI was signed by Nicolas Groult, Chief Executive Officer of KNDS France, and Al Sadah, Chief Executive Officer of BARZAN Holdings.
The LOI outlined the mutual intention of both parties to cooperate in the development of local industrial capabilities in the field of ammunition.
Under the terms of the agreement KNDS France and BARZAN Holdings will explore localization opportunities across key areas of ammunition manufacturing, with the objective of meeting operational requirements while complying with the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
