Kongsberg to Supply Composite Components for F-35 Program

Northrop Grumman and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace have
signed an agreement worth 1.4 billion NOK for supply of composite fuselage panels and hatches for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program.

The agreement covers deliveries of production lots 15 -20, with a period of performance running through 2027.

“Kongsberg has been a supplier to NGC and the F-35 program for more than a decade,” said Terje Bråthen, Executive Vice President Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. “The agreement confirms our relationship with NGC and our position on the program. To date, we have delivered parts for more than 1.100 aircraft. The agreement has a horizon on five years and gives us predictability and stability over time.”,

Kongsberg has about 11,000 employees located in more than 40 countries, and had a total revenue of NOK 27.4bn in 2021.
