Indonesia’s Lion Air group has signed a deal with NAVBLUE to use its digital navigational charts and database solutions: Charts+ and Navigation+.
Charts+ is an application for both iPad and Windows platforms, which is supported by a ground Web based solution for administration. This electronic solution aims to simplify and digitalize the navigation operation of pilots from the Lion Air group. Navigation+ provides the most complete and accurate aeronautical information available to support their Flight Management System (FMS).
“This efficient, reliable and tailored solution perfectly fits Lion Air group operational needs; it strengthens the relationship between Lion Air group and NAVBLUE, showcases a strong charting and navigation database solution success story in the region,” said Pierre Madrange, Vice President On-Board+ at NAVBLUE.
Lion Air group, the largest private aviation company in Indonesia, operates domestic as well as international routes, connecting different destinations of Indonesia to Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, India, Japan and Saudi Arabia. Lion Air group also provides charter routes to Mainland China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Macau.
