MAAS Aviation has extended its multi-year aircraft painting agreement with easyJet, continuing a partnership that began with a new programme launched in 2020.
“We are proud to name easyJet as a long-term partner. The extension of their aircraft painting programme is testament to our streamlined processes which deliver aircraft finished to the highest OEM quality standards at the optimum TATs this leading operator demands,” said Richard Marston, CCO at MAAS Aviation.
Under the renewed contract, effective from the 2025/26 season, MAAS will keep repainting easyJet’s A320 family aircraft at its Maastricht facility. Marston said, “The experience, quality and hard work of our people, coupled with the support of the easyJet Engineering & Appearance Management team, has ensured the smooth running of this long-term contract.
“We have established a strong and transparent partnership with easyJet… We are very pleased to extend our relationship with easyJet and look forward to painting many more of their aircraft in the years ahead.”
Sophie Michelson, Aircraft Appearance Manager at easyJet, said: “We are pleased to announce our extended agreement with MAAS Aviation. MAAS continue to demonstrate the highest standards of exterior paint application… easyJet is committed to ensuring the highest standards of aircraft appearance, whilst continuously working on gains to reduce carbon emissions.
“Since 2019, MAAS have proven their commitment… we look forward to delivering further improvements and developing our partnership as our fleet grows.”
MAAS’s Maastricht paint shop, built in 1998 and expanded in 2017, includes two climate-controlled paint bays and upgraded systems. Marston added that all MAAS facilities are certified to EN9100, ISO9001 and ISO14001.
