MBDA is presenting its wide portfolio of weapons at the ongoing show. On display is a model of the KF-21 carrying a heavy loadout of MBDA weapons comprising six Meteor Beyond-Visual-Range Air-To-Air Missiles (BVRAAM), two ASRAAMs and three each of the Spear and Spear-EW weapons.
The Spear delivers precision effects with low collateral damage and its compact high load out design enables multiple weapons to be carried, increasing mission persistence against diverse threats. The Spear -EW provides stand-in jamming and decoy capabilities, dramatically improving the survivability of aircraft and weapon packages in contested Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2AD) environments, increasing mission success.
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) is also integrating the Mistral ATAM system onto its new Marine Attack Helicopter (MAH), and this type of launcher is on display. MBDA is also demonstrating its layered approach to Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) and is showcasing its C-UAS and short-range options at the show, including its flagship modular, scalable, and evolvable counter-UAV system the Sky Warden which integrates a network of sensors and effectors and uses advanced Threat Evaluation and Weapon Assignment (TEWA) management.
Also being showcased is a new remotely controlled turret launcher for the Mistral Atlas RC that can be equipped with two or four short-range Mistral air defence missiles, offering high firepower, quick reaction time and protection on the move.
