Qatar-based MCT Group Trading unveiled a new portfolio of technologically advanced and sustainable civil defence products and services at DIMDEX 2026.
The Group introduced firefighting and rescue products from leading global partners in Sweden, the UK, and China to the Qatari market including high-speed boats, remote-control lifebuoys, portable lighting drones, and enhanced performance diving equipment.
Designed for search and rescue operations, the fire-fighting and fast-interceptor boats are made by Marell Boats of Sweden and can reach speeds up to 75 knots, offering unmatched maneuverability. The unmanned Dolphin1 LifeBuoy is manufactured by China’s Oceanalpha Group and is aimed at enhancing rescue operations with its battery-powered, remotely controlled capabilities.
The Group is also showcasing portable lighting drones from China’s GBI Intelligent Equipment Inc. The drones, weighing only 1.3 kg, can light up 3,000 to 7,000 square meters of space within minutes of deployment, making them indispensable for night-time rescue missions or surveillance. Also being shown are the UK-made DT4 Dive Thrusters, developed by Northern Divers International. These thrusters, offer unparalleled underwater propulsion for military combat swimmers, enhancing performance and reducing fatigue during critical operations.
