MIRAS Military-Industrial Company will take part in a joint display by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry at ADEX 2026, the country’s international defense exhibition in Baku.
The exhibition is scheduled for Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 at the Baku Expo Center. The ministry’s stand will also include AzerSilah Defense Industry Holding and the Defense Industry Research and Innovation Center, according to the exhibition organizer.
The joint stand will be part of a broader Azerbaijani display highlighting the country’s defense industry. Organizers have not specified which products MIRAS will present.
Earlier this month, Azerbaijan’s MIRAS Military-Industrial Company and Turkish shipbuilder DEARSAN agreed for a joint production of SALVO and KAYRA naval drones developed using Turkish technology.
Two types of drones are being produced at a joint production facility operated by MIRAS Military-Industrial Company, which is under the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, and Turkish shipbuilding company DEARSAN Shipyard: SALVO armed unmanned surface vessels and KAYRA kamikaze unmanned surface vessels.
President Ilham Aliyev inspected the facility during a Sept. 6 visit to the Azerbaijani Navy.
Officials briefed him on the SALVO armed unmanned surface vessel and the KAYRA attack vessel. Vessels built at the facility then underwent practical tests, the president’s office said.
MIRAS operates under Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
