Abu Dhabi- based private aviation company RoyalJet, has appointed Mohammed Husain Ahmed, the former General Manager of Abu Dhabi Airports, as the new CEO.
Ahmed, an aviation expert, brings more than 25 years of industry experience across both the government and the private sectors. He is also a Board Member at the Abu Dhabi Government Flight-Testing Facility.
“We are delighted to have Mohammed join RoyalJet as CEO. RoyalJet’s role in the UAE economy and regional aviation sector is well known and with Mohammed’s expertise and experience, we are at the dawn of another era of success and brilliance,” HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan said.
As the General Manager of Abu Dhabi Airports, Ahmed was responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and evaluation of the firm’s programmes and services.
