Banyuwangi-based PT Lundin Industry Invest (North Sea Boats) is highlighting its latest naval offerings at Indo Defence 2024, including the X33 KSR (Kapal Serbu Ringan) fast missile boat.
The X33 KSR is a 20-metre-long, 4-metre-wide vessel with a displacement of 33 tons. Designed for high-speed operations, it is powered by twin 2,000 HP diesel engines driving waterjets, enabling a maximum speed of approximately 50 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots. The boat boasts a range of 990 kilometres at 9 knots, catering to extended patrol missions.
Developed to meet the Indonesian Navy’s requirements for a rapid-response strike platform, the KSR is armed with two anti-ship missiles and features a Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) as well as counter-measures devices.
The vessel is also designed to support modern naval operations, with the capacity to deploy and operate both an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) for surveillance and reconnaissance tasks.
In addition to the X33 KSR, North Sea Boats is showcasing a range of other products at the exhibition, including the X18 Combat Boat, the 63-metre Fast Attack Trimaran, the X36 Eco Patrol, and the Arrow 600 High-Speed Kamikaze Drone.
