Northrop Grumman Announces Operating Structure Changes

Northrop Grumman’s new operating structure, which will be in force from January next year,  will be composed of aeronautics, defense, mission and space systems sectors.

“This new operating structure allows us to take full advantage of our company’s portfolio by aligning businesses that have shared markets, customers and technologies,” said Kathy Warden, chairman, CEO and president of Northrop and a 2019 Wash100 winner. “It will accelerate our ability to rapidly identify and deliver the technologies, products and services our customers need, and fuel our continued growth and execution.”

Whie Janis Pamiljans, corporate vice president and president of Northrop’s aerospace systems, will lead the aeronautics systems sector, Mary Petryszyn, current VP and general manager of land and avionics C4ISR of Northrop’s mission systems, will head the defense systems business.

Mark Caylor, current corporate VP and president of mission systems, will lead the mission systems operating sector. Blake Larson, current corporate VP and president of Northrop’s innovation systems business, will oversee the space systems sector.

Northrop also announced the planned retirement of Patrick Antkowiak, corporate VP and chief strategy and technology officer, and Christopher Jones, corporate VP and president of technology services.
