Upon completion of the deal, Rotron will be integrated into the Ondas Autonomous Systems division. This merger will combine Rotron’s long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous strike platforms, and proprietary propulsion technologies into a broader system-of-systems architecture designed for modern contested operational environments.

Rotron’s current portfolio includes:

Talon Series: Multi-role vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) platforms featuring a proprietary three-bladed rotor head system optimised for endurance and stability.
Defendor: A one-way autonomous attack system powered by Rotron’s proprietary engines and fan-drive systems.
Dual-use VTOL Systems: Long-endurance platforms designed for both civilian and military applications.
Next-generation UCAVs: Uncrewed combat aerial vehicles designed for precision autonomous engagement.

The company focuses on high-performance, "attritable" unmanned systems—platforms designed to be cost-effective enough to be lost in combat—optimised for range and operational resilience. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Rotron's ability to deliver scalable capabilities to the UK Ministry of Defence, NATO, and allied markets.

Rotron will continue to operate from its UK base, retaining its existing engineering, manufacturing, and programme delivery teams. The business model supports a vertically integrated approach, covering the process from rapid prototyping through to full industrialisation.
