Egypt’s international defence exhibition, EDEX 2018, is evoking tremendous response among local and international defence industry,according to its organisers.
Over 300 international defence and security manufacturers are expected to take part in the Egypt Defence Expo as exhibitors, and over 10000 visitors are projected to attend the event, which will take place from Dec 3 to Dec 5, 2018 at Egypt International Exhibition Centre, a brand-new exhibition centre opening in Cairo.
According to Major General Mohsen Abdel Nabi, Chairman of the Armed Forces Moral Affairs Department, this will be the first event of its kind in Egypt, covering air, land and sea. We plan to make EDEX the number one event in the Middle East region. The event will bring the international defence industry to Egypt to demonstrate their capabilities and also offer the Egyptian Military Production companies a platform to showcase their equipment and services to other militaries from around the world.
The event is supported by Egyptian Armed Forces and will be organised by Clarion Events, the largest organiser of defence & security events in the world, with over 200 other events across different sectors. The exhibition, which will also feature a conference programme and a fully-hosted international military VIP Delegation Programme, will help in bringing together key defence and security players from the region and across the world, Tim Porter, Managing Director of Clarion Defence & Security, said.
