Our Bureau - : Jan 19, 2026 - : 12:08 am

Finnish defence company Patria is showcasing a broad range of land, indirect fire, Electronic Warfare (EW), unmanned and sustainment solutions at the ongoing DIMDEX 2026, with a focus on systems designed to operate effectively in extreme and demanding conditions.

Patria is highlighting the AMV XP 8×8 in the protected mobility domain. The modular armoured wheeled vehicle is designed to deliver a balance of firepower, protection and mobility. The Finnish firm is positioning the AMV XP as a cost-effective and future-ready platform adaptable to evolving mission requirements. It builds on the operational experience gained by Patria’s wider AMV family.

For indirect fire support, Patria is presenting the NEMO 120 mm turreted mortar system. The remotely controlled solution is designed for mobile and protected fire support operations. The lightweight system offers multi-platform compatibility and is capable of delivering accurate fire support, including Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact (MRSI), Multiple Targets Simultaneous Impact (MTSI) and direct fire modes, including while on the move.

The Finnish defence company is also highlighting a range of EW and surveillance systems. ARIS is a remotely operable ELINT solution designed for interception, recording and analysis in complex signal environments, while CATCHR combines electronic support measures with advanced signal intelligence features to enable passive detection, geolocation and tracking of radar emitters. The company’s MUSCL passive radar system provides covert air surveillance for applications including airspace monitoring, border security, infrastructure protection and counter-UAS missions.

In the unmanned domain, Patria is presenting several drone solutions, including Patria SKY, a long-range multi-mission UAV, Patria ONE, a modular system capable of fibre-optic control, and Patria GEO, a terrain-mapping drone designed for extended endurance missions.
