PTDI, Scytalys Partner to Develop Special Mission Solutions for N219 and CN235

PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Greek firm Scytalys to enhance market penetration and integrate advanced mission systems into the N219 and CN235 aircraft platforms. The agreement was signed on the opening day of the Singapore Airshow 2026 at the PTDI pavilion.

The signing was conducted by PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology and Development, Moh Arif Faisal, and Scytalys’ Director, Dimitris Karantzavelos. The ceremony was witnessed by PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan, alongside board members Bonar Halomoan Hutagaol and Yusron Ihza.

This agreement represents an expansion of the strategic partnership between the two companies, specifically focusing on the development of special mission aircraft. The collaboration involves the integration of the Mission Integration and Management System (MIMS) and Command and Control (C2) systems onto PTDI-manufactured aircraft. These enhancements are designed to support maritime patrol and surveillance operations, with a primary focus on the Asia-Pacific market.

“This collaboration will strengthen the operational capabilities of the N219 and CN235 aircraft, which will certainly also open up new market opportunities for PTDI’s flagship aircraft through competitive special mission solutions that meet users’ operational needs,” said Moh Arif Faisal.

The N219 and CN235 are designed for transport and utility roles; however, this integration aims to position them as highly capable assets for regional security and maritime domain awareness.
