Republikorp has signed an agreement with Milanion Group at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi to supply the Indonesian Navy with unmanned surface vessels (USVs). The partnership involves integrating Milanion’s Autonomous Conversion Kit into locally designed and constructed vessels.
Under the agreement, Republikorp and Milanion will collaborate to deliver an initial fleet of five 20-metre USVs. The vessels will be built by an Indonesian shipyard in accordance with the Navy’s specifications. Milanion’s conversion kit will be integrated into the boats to enhance their operational capabilities and autonomous functions.
The contract was signed by Norman Joesoef, Chairman of Republikorp, and Davinder Dogra, CEO of Milanion Group, at IDEX 2025, where both companies are exhibiting their latest defence and security technologies.
Beyond the initial contract, Republikorp and Milanion plan to explore further cooperation in developing defence solutions for Indonesia’s maritime, land, and air sectors. The partnership aims to strengthen national defence capabilities by combining international technology with local expertise.
Republikorp has stated that it will oversee the implementation of the USV programme while supporting the development of the domestic defence industry. The company aims to enhance Indonesia’s defence readiness by integrating global expertise with local innovation.
