Sarsılmaz to Showcase Broad Portfolio of Firearms and Defense Systems

Turkish defense manufacturer Sarsılmaz will showcase a wide range of firearms and military systems at SAHA Expo, underlining its position as one of Turkiye’s oldest and most diversified small arms producers.

The company states that its portfolio spans military weapons, law enforcement systems, sporting firearms, and ammunition, reflecting an increasingly integrated defense manufacturing approach.

SAR 127 MT

Sarsılmaz is expected to present the SAR 127 MT as one of its headline products at the exhibition. This 12.7×99 mm heavy machine gun serves military applications that require high firepower and durability. The platform features a 1,143 mm barrel and delivers a firing rate of 600 rounds per minute, making it suitable for vehicle-mounted and static defense roles.

SAR 56

Sarsılmaz is also likely to highlight the SAR 56, chambered in 5.56×45 mm, expanding its infantry rifle offerings. The weapon achieves a firing rate between 750 and 950 rounds per minute and targets modern armed forces seeking modular rifle solutions. The company has also showcased variants such as the SAR 56 HMT, demonstrating its ambitions in more advanced weapon systems.

SAR 109T

In the compact weapons segment, Sarsılmaz will likely display the SAR 109T, a 9×19 mm submachine gun with a firing rate of 900 rounds per minute. The system supports special operations, close-quarters combat, and law enforcement missions.

SAR9 GEN3

For commercial and law enforcement markets, Sarsılmaz continues to promote its flagship SAR9 GEN3 pistol series as a major attraction. The striker-fired pistol family, chambered in 9×19 mm with 15- and 17-round configurations, plays a central role in the company’s international expansion strategy and has gained visibility in export markets, including the United States.

Beyond firearms, Sarsılmaz has recently highlighted autonomous and robotic defense concepts, including the armed robotic platform SARBOT, signaling its intention to move beyond conventional weapons manufacturing. With more than a century of manufacturing history, the company is using SAHA 2026 to reinforce its role as a full-spectrum defense supplier in domestic and export markets.
