Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is ramping up its flight frequencies and increasing passenger capacity across its Asia-Pacific network to meet growing travel demand through the remainder of 2025. The move includes expanded services to Australia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia, alongside the deployment of larger aircraft on several routes.
From 6 June, Scoot will double its services to Iloilo City in the Philippines, operating four flights per week. Flights to Cebu will rise to 10 per week starting 24 June, while services to Davao will increase from nine to 12 per week from 30 August.
In Thailand, Scoot will enhance its services to Koh Samui from 24 June, expanding from 21 to 25 weekly flights. These additional services are expected to offer more early morning and late evening options, catering to leisure travellers during peak demand periods.
The airline is also boosting its operations to Australia. Perth will receive twice-daily services from 4 August, increasing from 12 to 14 flights per week. Sydney will follow with a rise in weekly frequencies from 10 to 14 beginning 5 October.
Scoot will also raise the frequency of its flights to Taipei and Seoul (via Taipei) from five weekly services to daily operations starting 2 August. Capacity on the Taipei and Tokyo routes has also been upgraded since 30 March, with Scoot deploying its widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliners on all 12 weekly flights.
Service enhancements extend to Vietnam, where Phu Quoc is now served six times weekly, up from five, following an increase implemented on 15 April.
In Indonesia, Scoot has already increased its flights to Jakarta to 25 per week from 30 March, up from 19. The airline’s Bali services, operating 21 times weekly, are now entirely flown using Boeing 787 Dreamliners to accommodate higher passenger loads. Flights to Yogyakarta have also seen a capacity upgrade, with all seven weekly services now operated by the Airbus A321.
Scoot's latest network expansion reflects sustained demand for air travel in the region and comes as part of the carrier’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key leisure and business markets.
