Israeli company Smart Shooter will present its Smash family of fire control systems at the upcoming DefExpo 2022 exhibition in Gujarat, India.

The products will be exhibited at a joint stand with its Make In India partner – Defsys Solutions. Smart Shooter recently delivered its Smash Fire Control Systems to the Indian Navy, which will use them as close-in anti-drone equipment to protect naval installations and assets from attacking drones.

Smash ensures each round finds its target. With a unique “One Shot – One Hit” capability, it allows the operator to quickly and effectively neutralize any ground or airborne target, manned or unmanned, including drones. It is a cost-effective add-on solution that can be integrated onto any type of assault rifle and accommodate any kind of ammunition. Combining computer vision technologies, electro-optics, tracking algorithms and real-time embedded software, Smash solutions are ideal for defense, HLS and Border protection, and fully comply with the Indian operational and environmental needs.

Smart Shooter’s Smash fire control solutions are fielded and in operational use by various friendly forces around the world, including the Indian Navy, Panjab State Police, the IDF, and the US Special Forces. The company is committed to local manufacturing of its line of FCS as part of ‘Make in India.’

“Smart Shooter’s SMASH technology brings precision-missile targeting algorithms and advanced electro-optical processing capabilities into standard assault rifles, ultimately revolutionizing the world of small arms,” said Michal Mor, Smart Shooter CEO.
