In order to further strengthen its supplier network and add more flexibility to its operation, Spairliners has decided to collaborate with additional MRO providers.
The OEM independent market leader in Europe for Integrated Component Care for the Embraer E-Jet family in Europe, will expand its MRO network by collaborating with new partners. The new partnerships with Inflite MRO Services Ltd, based in Southend/ UK and Ateliers Bigata, a specialist in the maintenance of pressurized safety components, headquartered in Bordeaux/ France, will extend Spairliners’ repair capabilities and add more flexibility and agility to Spairliners existing supplier network over the next years.
“We look forward to direct and new partnerships within the MRO ecosystem in order to benefit from the specialized repair capabilities of the selected supplier,” said Benoît Rollier, chief financial officer and managing director of Spairliners. “These new agreements with experienced and certified MROs will complement our in-house repair capabilities via Lufthansa Technik AG and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and help us to further increase our efficiency and cost position in the market.”
Spairliners was founded in 2005 as an equally split joint venture between Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Lufthansa Technik. It is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.
