Spirit Airlines and Safran Landing Systems have renewed their long-term agreement for the supply and MRO of wheels and carbon brakes for the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet. The contract covers both the Airbus A320ceo and A320neo in service and more to be delivered in the future.
Manufacturing will be carried out by Safran Landing Systems plant in Walton (Kentucky) that employs 400 highly qualified employees. The contract also includes maintenance services through Safran Landing Systems Wheels & Brakes Services network in Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Texas and Nevada.
