ST Engineering's Commercial Aerospace business has set up quick-turn services for the LEAP-1B engine by CFM International (CFM), at the Group’s aerospace facility in Singapore.
The Group, which is showcasing its MRO and other aerospace capabilities at the ongoing Singapore Airshow, plans to expand its LEAP-1B engine capability to full MRO services by end-2023.
“ST Engineering has a longstanding relationship with CFM as a licensed service centre for its CFM56-5B and -7B engines," said Jeffrey Lam, Commercial Aerospace President at ST Engineering. "The capability set-up for the LEAP-1B engine starting with quick-turn services builds on that relationship and expands our MRO offerings to better support customers’ fleet using CFM engines.”
