STM Showcases 5 New Maritime and UAV Products

Türkiye's STM Defence Technologies Engineering (STM) is presenting five new defense technologies developed indigenously, for the first time at IDEF. The company is also showcasing its range of warships, tactical UAV systems, and cutting-edge solutions at the country's largest defense fair.

"As STM, we respond to the needs of our Turkish Armed Forces and friendly/allied nations with modern, field-proven technologies, leveraging our national engineering strength," said STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz. "IDEF is one of the most important defense industry gatherings not only in Türkiye but also in the world.’ This year, at IDEF-2025, STM is showcasing its capability demonstrations for the first time, along with five new products developed in the fields of military maritime and tactical UAV systems. The company is also showcasing a highly anticipated national naval platform, which the firm has been working on for a long time for the Turkish Navy."

STM, which builds surface and underwater platforms primarily for the Turkish Naval Forces as well as the Ukrainian, Pakistani, Portuguese and Malaysian navies, is exhibiting 12 different naval projects at IDEF.

Türkiye's national frigate project İstif Class (TCG İSTANBUL), Türkiye's national corvette project MİLGEM Ada Class, Türkiye's first and only corvette export to the Asia-Pacific region - Malaysian Corvette (LMS Batch-2), Türkiye's first military ship export to a European Union (EU) and NATO member country - Portugal's Fleet Replenishment and Logistics Support Ship, Pakistani Fleet Replenishment Tanker, Multi-Purpose Support Ship, STM Coast Guard Ships; CG-1041, CG-3100, CG-78, Türkiye's national autonomous Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle 'STM NETA', which was developed with national resources and whose sea tests are continuing successfully, and Türkiye's first national submarine design for special operations and attack purposes, STM500, will be shown at IDEF.

STM, also a developer of tactical mini UAV systems, is presenting KARGU, Türkiye's first nationally developed strike UAV, which has been exported to more than 10 countries on three different continents, with anti-personnel, armor-piercing ammunition warheads, and an RF seeker warhead. The company will also introduce the TOGAN, a scout UAV currently in the Turkish Armed Forces' inventory that is actively used in the fight against terrorism, and the BOYGA, an ammunition-dropping UAV. STM's FPV (First Person View) drone solution, Kargu FPV, is also being showcased at the fair for the first time with a variety of ammunition options.

Two new products joining STM's tactical UAV family will also be introduced at IDEF.
