Russia is presenting one of its largest-ever international presentations, unveiling a full spectrum of defence, dual-use, and civilian technologies across a 1,000-sqm national pavilion. The headline attraction is the Su-57E, making its first-ever appearance in the Middle East.
The fifth-generation fighter will take part in the flying display, showcasing its supermanoeuvrability, sensor fusion capabilities, and internal weapons carriage. The Russian Knights aerobatic team returns to Dubai with a high-energy performance using Su-35S fighters.
The upgraded Yak-130M combat trainer is also making its first public appearance.
The Russian display brings together leading industrial organisations including United Aircraft Corporation, United Engine Corporation, Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern, Almaz-Antey, and the Tactical Missiles Corporation.
According to Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport, Russia is showcasing more than 850 advanced products, including 30+ full-scale systems designed to enhance partner defence capabilities.
Russia is positioning itself as the only supplier capable of offering full localisation of fifth-generation fighter production to foreign customers, including technology transfer. Also displayed is the Su-57E’s compatible weapons suite, including the RVV-MD2, Kh-38MLE, Kh-69, Grom-E1, Kh-58UShKE, and RVV-BD.
The upgraded Yak-130M includes a new avionics suite, expanded guided weapons, radar, targeting pod, and President-S130 EW suite. It is capable of both air-to-air and precision strike missions.
The IL-76MD-90A(E) is on static display. It can carry up to 60 tonnes over 4,000 km and features an advanced electro-optical system for airdrop zone detection. It can also be equipped with the President-S EW suite and firefighting modules.
United Engine Corporation is presenting its new Item 177S turbojet engine, which offers higher thrust, lower fuel burn, and longer service life.
Russia is showing several air defence systems including the Pantsir-SMD-E, designed to defeat UAVs and aerodynamic targets. Its modular configuration supports:
• 48× TKB-1055 missiles
• 12× 57E6 missiles
• Or a mixed load-out
Also on display are the Verba MANPADS, Dzhigit twin-launcher, and the SKVP airspace control and counter-UAV system.
The pavilion further covers military aircraft, helicopters, engines, avionics, air and missile defence, electronic warfare, and a wide portfolio of air-launched weapons.
Russia emphasizes technology partnerships and collaborative initiatives connected to the systems showcased at the Dubai Airshow.
