​According to an official corporate press release, the MRM2-10AI integrates the proprietary IRONghost radio control system with native fibre-optic connectivity. This dual-link layout enables tactical operators to deploy the aerial platform across complex operational environments without requiring physical reconfigurations. Industry watchers note that the system features an automatic communications failover mechanism, which instantly transitions the system to a resilient radio-frequency link if the fibre-optic line is physically severed during a mission.

New Autopilot

​Beyond communication resilience, the tactical drone utilizes a newly developed high-performance autopilot board that unlocks advanced edge-computing and autonomous capabilities. This hardware foundation supports vision-based terminal guidance algorithms, ensuring that the platform can successfully execute missions in environments where the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is completely denied or jammed. Furthermore, the system incorporates an open development architecture and a dedicated third-party developer program, allowing military end-users to deploy custom artificial intelligence models and advanced computer vision applications directly onto the onboard compute platform.

​The strategic relevance of this development resonates strongly across the Asia-Pacific, where territorial anxieties in the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait are driving massive investments in resilient electronic counter-countermeasures. Maritime border security agencies and defense establishments across Southeast Asia are closely evaluating platforms that do not rely on Chinese components, seeking to eliminate supply chain vulnerabilities and back-door surveillance risks. By utilizing a clean-room supply chain completely free of Chinese hardware, the newly launched platform aligns directly with the stringent procurement frameworks being established by nations such as Australia, Japan, and India.
