Thai Air Force Chief Visits Philippines to Strengthen Defense Ties

Royal Thai Air Force commander Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha visited Philippine Air Force headquarters on Aug. 27 as the two services sought to strengthen military cooperation and professional exchanges.

Kantha and a Thai delegation met with Philippine Air Force chief Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, the Philippine Air Force said.

The courtesy call highlighted the longstanding partnership between the two air forces and their commitment to continued dialogue, bilateral defense relations and regional cooperation.

The Thai delegation also toured the Philippine Air Force Museum, viewing exhibits on the service’s history and aviation heritage.

The Philippine Air Force said the visit was part of its efforts to strengthen ties with regional counterparts and promote closer military-to-military cooperation.
