Triumph's Thermal Systems Division has been awarded a long-term-program contract to design, manufacture and support the precooler system for the 40-seater D328eco regional turboprop aircraft from German OEM Deutsche Aircraft.
The D328eco is equipped with Pratt and Whitney PS127XT-S engines capable of operating on 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) including Power-to-Liquids (PtL) fuel with zero aromatics. The aircraft will also have advanced avionics enabling single-pilot operations, while consuming 40% less fuel and emitting 40% less carbon.
