TRUST, a subsidiary of the UAE-based EDGE group, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Germany’s Diehl Defence to explore potential collaboration in defence and security capabilities within the UAE.
The agreement was signed during the ongoing show by Omar Al Zaabi, President of Trading and Mission Support at EDGE, and Dr Harald Buschek, Chief Programme Officer at Diehl Defence. The signing was attended by Dr Jasem Al Zaabi, Vice President of Business Development at EDGE; Dr Abdulmunem Alshehhi, Chief Operations Officer of TRUST; Katja Decker, Head of Economic Affairs at the German Embassy; and Christoph Schumann, German Defence Attaché.
TRUST specialises in equipment, technologies, and services for national security and defence, while Diehl Defence is involved in developing and producing ground-based air defence systems, guided missiles, and ammunition for land, air, and naval forces. Through the MoU, both entities aim to leverage their expertise to support advancements in defence and security.
