TRUST International Group, an entity under EDGE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Leonardo DRS to collaborate on defence solutions for the UAE Armed Forces. The agreement focuses on the development, production, and long-term support of defence technologies, particularly situational awareness systems for vehicle integration.
The MoU was signed during IDEX 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Signatories included Dr. Jasem Al Zaabi, Vice President of Business Development at EDGE; Joe Rahbany, Vice President of Business Development in the Middle East at Leonardo DRS; Dr. Abdulmunem Alshehhi, Chief Operations Officer at TRUST; Bill Guyan, Senior Vice President of Business Development and President of International Business at Leonardo DRS; Dennis Crumley, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Leonardo DRS Land Electronics; and Cameron Dadgar, Business Development Executive for Air Combat at Leonardo DRS.
The collaboration aims to enhance the UAE’s defence sector by integrating advanced technologies, supporting operational requirements, and promoting self-sufficiency in national defence. It aligns with the UAE’s strategy to strengthen local defence capabilities and foster international partnerships that bring cutting-edge solutions to the region.
