Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has inked strategic production contract at IDEF with Türkiye’s Defense Industry Agency for the production of 57 new T625 GÖKBEY General Purpose Helicopters.
Deliveries of the T625s are slated to begin in 2028.
The new GÖKBEY helicopters will be powered by Türkiye’s indigenously developed TEI-TS1400 turboshaft engines.
The T625 GÖKBEY made its maiden flight in September 6, 2018.
