Eager to build strategic partnerships and expand their footprint in Southeast Asia, seven UAE defence firms have brought their technological innovations to the ongoing show.
The companies are exhibiting under the aegis of the Emirates Defence Companies Council (EDCC) at the UAE National Pavilion. State-owned defence conglomerate EDGE, Yahsat, International Golden Group (IGG), GAL-AMMROC, and Bin Hilal Enterprises are among the companies showcasing their products and capabilities. While EDGE is displaying autonomous systems, naval systems, arms, ammunitions products, cyber, and electronic warfare capabilities, Yahsat is highlighting its satellite communication technology solutions. GAL-AMMROC is promoting its aircraft MRO capabilities and services while Bin Hilal Enterprises is seeking attention for its land systems capabilities. IGG is display an armoured vehicle fitted with RAAD 1 RWS System.
Also making their presence felt at the Show are Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), which is highlighting its role in helping international companies set up operations in Abu Dhabi, and IDEX LLC, which promoting the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025).
According to Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairwoman of EDCC, The UAE's participation at the Show is a significant step towards realising the vision of enhancing the sector and nurturing local capabilities that meet the operational needs of the country’s defence sector. The EDCC is dedicated to empowering strategic partnerships between local companies and global companies. The Show provides an opportunity for UAE defence companies to foster local supply chains and open up new markets.
