Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) is showcasing its military and civil aviation programmes at the 20th edition of the FIDAE airshow, here in Santiago, Chile.
The highlight of UAC’s display is the MiG-29M 4+ generation combat aircraft which is a substantial upgrade over previous MiG-29 versions.
UAC is also showcasing its Superjet 100 commercial aircraft.
Mexican airline Interjet operates a large fleet of Superjet 100 aircraft and started operations of the type in 2013.
Interjet now operates 22 Superjet 100 aircraft, having flown more than 109,000 flights with more than 126,000 flight hours.
The Be-200 and Be-103 amphibian aircraft are also being showcased.
