A320s Dominate Airbus Deliveries in February

Airbus delivered a total of 32 aircraft to 20 customers last month, with narrowbodies accounting for most of the deliveries. The plane maker also  secured 11 new orders in February.

The deliveries comprised two A220s, 29 A320s – including two ceo’s and 27 neos  and a  wide-body jet, an A350.

The aircraft were delivered mostly to China, India and the Middle East.  Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo took three A321neos while Jazeera Airways and Air Cote D’Ivoire received jets in the Middle East. The bulk of the deliveries however went to Airlines in China received most of the A320 deliveries.

The only A350 delivery was made to Air China. With many airlines deferring deliveries and rethinking fleet expansion,  both Airbus and Boeing expect  deliveries and orders to remain a fraction of what they used to be before the COVID-19 pandemic.
