Axon-Vision, developer of advanced situational awareness (SA) systems for armored vehicles, is promoting the capabilities of Edge360, a real-time AI-powered decision-making video system for next-generation combat vehicles (NGCVs), at the ongoing event.
The Edge360, which is already under contract, offers a 360-degree situational awareness (SA) capability to the squad in the combat vehicle. Axon Vision is displaying a model of a combat vehicle equipped with the Edge360 system.
The system boosts user survivability and enhances the navigability and lethality of NGCVs by providing automatic target recognition for tracking, identification, and categorization of both static and moving targets and threats, distance calculation, and a three-dimensional perspective of the surroundings.
Using advanced landscape segmentation, the system can scan and identify targets across large land areas. Due to its user-friendly interface and seamless interaction with existing SA systems, the operating crew can receive all the real-time information required to optimize the decision-making process.
"The Edge360 takes AI-powered situational awareness solutions one big step further, increasing user survivability and optimizing the decision-making process," said BG. (Ret.) Roy Riftin, Axon-Vision CEO. "As a market leader in the field of AI-based solutions for combat vehicles, we are honored to present this innovative solution at the IDEX exhibition in cooperation with our local partner, IGG (International Golden Group)."
Axon-Vision designs and creates artificial intelligence (AI) systems that enable autonomy, situational awareness, lethality, and survivability for land, air, and sea vehicles and platforms, setting the standard for future semi-autonomous military operations.
