Safran Nacelles has signed a contract with Azul to provide repair services and spares pool resources for
thrust reversers that equip the airline’s Airbus A330 jetliner fleet powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700
engines. The deal was announced on the opening day of MRO Americas 2019 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
The long-term agreement gives Azul access to Safran Nacelles’ global stock of Trent 700 thrust
reversers. The Brazilian airline also will benefit from OEM-guaranteed MRO solutions at Safran Nacelles repair stations.

NacelleLifeTM coverage,” said Olivier Savin, Safran Nacelles’ Executive Vice President – Customer
Support & Services. “The airline can count on our OEM expertise with the Trent 700 thrust reverser and our
proximity.”
“We have chosen to establish trust-based working relationships with OEMs such as Safran Nacelles
because of their ability to provide solutions, along with very high levels of services and support quality,”
said Leonardo Zerbone, Azul´s Supply Chain General Manager.
The NacelleLifeTM service package offers airlines and lessors a maintenance service adapted to their most
specific requirements for one or all steps in the lifecycle of their fleets – from pre-entry into service for an
aircraft until it is withdrawn from, or returned, to operation.
