Barfield, the US bridgehead of AFI KLM E&M’s global MRO network, has announced the signing of a regional distribution agreement with Falgayras SAS, located around Toulouse in southern France.
“Falgayras is proud of this new partnership with Barfield. It is designed to improve the effectiveness of our service by shortening our response times and sharing our North American and European customer portfolios. Our respective customers will therefore be the big winners under this agreement,” said Christophe Falgayras, Chairman and CEO of Falgayras SAS.
This is an exclusive multi-year agreement involving a selection of Falgayras products, and in particular windscreen wiper systems (wiper arms, blades and motors) fitted as original equipment to many Bombardier CSeries and Mitsubishi MRJ family aircraft, as well as Airbus Helicopter helicopters.
Barfield already markets a wide range of aircraft parts in the Americas under partnerships with various OEMs, including Stelia, Airbus EAP, and Siemens Elta.
“We turned to Falgayras due to the high quality of its products, acknowledged by leading aircraft and helicopter manufacturers worldwide. Falgayras components will form a highly complementary fit for the extensive catalogue of solutions distributed by Barfield. This agreement will enable us to better serve our existing customers, and also to reach out to potential new ones, especially operators of CSeries family fleets,” said Barfield’s Lew Wingate, Vice President GSTE and Distribution.
