Barzan Industrial Group (BIG) unveiled its new KMA 762 advanced lightweight modular rifle system at the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022). The rifle is made in Qatar by BIG and chambers a 7.62mm X 51 mm NATO round and is available in a 16.5” barrel length.
The rifle features a cold hammer forged and chrome plated barrel. The rifle features machines billet upper and lower receivers and a flared magazine well for faster reloads. The weapon has a six position telescoping butt stock and weighs 9.84 lb without the magazine. It will be available in two magazine sizes, capable of accommodating 10/20 rounds of ammunition.
